Symbiosophy Educational Foundation: Transformative Community Projects Since 2022

Karadian Kulam School: Empowering EducationSEF has been actively supporting the Karadian Kulam School by providing essential resources that ensure children can pursue their education without hindrances. Provision of Essentials: SEF has donated books, shoes, socks, uniforms, and school bags to the students. These basic necessities help remove barriers to education, ensuring that children attend school regularly and participate fully in their studies.

Tuition Fees for A/L Students in Batticaloa: Understanding the importance of higher education, SEF has also extended its support to Advanced Level (A/L) students in another school in Batticaloa by covering their tuition fees. This initiative helps students concentrate on their studies without the financial burden, improving their chances of academic success.​

Santhiveli: Nutrition for Better Learning
In Santhiveli, SEF addresses the critical issue of malnutrition among school children. Proper nutrition is essential for cognitive development and academic performance.

Nutritious Dry Food: SEF provides nutritious dry food to children in Santhiveli, ensuring they receive the necessary nutrients to stay healthy and focused on their studies. This initiative helps combat hunger and supports the overall well-being of the children.

Thalawai School: Enhancing Accessibility In Thalawai, SEF has focused on improving accessibility to education through innovative solutions. Bicycle Donation: SEF donated bicycles to the Thalawai School, enabling children to commute to school more easily. This initiative reduces the time and effort required to travel long distances, encouraging regular attendance and punctuality.​

Rev. Dr. Rex Joseph Memorial Initiatives
In 2017, SEF commemorated the 10th death anniversary of Rev. Dr. Rex Joseph by launching several educational initiatives, which have continued to benefit communities.

Nursery in Manalchenai Kalmunai: SEF opened a nursery in Manalchenai Kalmunai to provide early childhood education. Early education is crucial for cognitive and social development, and this nursery ensures that children get a strong start in their educational journey.

SEF has donated stationery and school bags to Veppavetuvan School.

The new vice president of Symbiosophy Educational foundation Mrs.Ruwani Gunawardena (U.S.A) had come to srilanka to participate her first committee meeting with us.The committee warmly wellcomed her.

The foundation has launched a Women’s Forum, an awareness program led by SEF President Mrs. Joseph along with her friend,Rev.Tomoko Hidaka.

On February 16, 2025, SEF President Mrs. Joseph and Reverend Mocato Hithaka visited K/Denu/An-Noor Primary Vidyalaya, Handessa. After seeing the school library, they generously gifted books to enhance students’ reading skills.

Certificates and trophies were awarded to students who scored more than 80 marks in English.

A committee meeting was held at the Anglicon Church in Valaichenai, where SEF, in collaboration with JJCP President Ms. Krishni and Secretary Ms. Kohilavani, presented trophies and certificates to the children who excelled in chess.During the meeting, the committee, along with Rev. Fr. Thayalan, a member of SEF , discussed plans to start a new educational project with the church in the future.

SEF President Mrs. Joseph, along with her friend Rev. Tomoko Hidaka, visited the Symbioun Herbal Garden and spent time with the children from the Symbioun Youth Development Project in Mavadivembu. They also shared lunch together and enjoyed meaningful interactions with the children.
